Released February 1948
Green Lantern #30
Synopsis
The debut of Streak the Wonder Dog in a story by writer Robert Kanigher and artist Alex Toth wasn't a good sign for the Golden Age Green Lantern. Perhaps inspired by another German Shepherd - Rin Tin Tin - Streak was popular from the outset. Even on the cover of this issue, Green Lantern is just a spectator, watching as Streak got the laugh by depositing a bone at the local bank.
