Several of Hawkman's forgotten foes gather in secret, as a sorcerer unleashes an army of flesh-eating zombies on the unsuspecting populace of St. Roch, and a tower of darkness rises to seal off the city from the outside world! It's the beginning of a year of hell for Hawkman, and the hero's journey takes him to places he never wanted to go!
