Synopsis
SPEED FREAK / PARANOID This issue takes place between Impulse #28 and #29 and Scare Tactics #9 and #10 . Grossout escapes capture and lets loose in Alabama, leading to tales of a mysterious bog monster on the loose. He soon crosses paths with Impulse, who is trying to find the alleged monster before the government does. But, after a confrontation in the swamps leads Grossout to absorb some of Impulse's powers, the two must find a way to set things right. Continues in Superboy Plus #2
