Doc Samson manages to physically separate the Hulk from Dr. Bruce Banner. S.H.I.E.L.D. shows up and decides to take the now mindless Hulk into custody. Doc Samson helps the Hulk escape...who immediately kills the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents involved. Samson tragically realizes his mistake and vows to bring the Hulk, even if he has to kill him!Bruce Banner is comatose after the split, and Betty Ross goes to the hospital to visit him!
