Synopsis
There exists a barrier between two worlds...an unseen wall that separates two universes so blissfully unaware of one another. Now that barrier has been breached, and two titanic evils have joined together on a course which could spell disaster for existence as we know it. Mistress Crescendo and Baron Zemo have joined forces to resurrect the most powerful object created by man...the Cosmic Cube! It can convert thoughts into physical reality. Scattered chunks of the Cosmic Cube have lain beneath the depths of the ocean, its exact location unknown to all. But thanks to Mistress Crescendo, its location has been divined. Now there exists but one task--to retrieve these pieces of the Cube and reassemble them for both villains' uses. To that end, Baron Zemo has reassembled the Masters of Evil, a motley assembly of the most vile villains imaginable. He has also aligned himself with Arnim Zola, using the bio-geneticist's newly constructed living Isle of Exiles as his mobile base of operations.
