Justice League America #39

Synopsis

"Blow Up" Despero and Martian Manhunter do battle. Despero gets the upper hand when he gets into Manhunter's head and makes him relive the death of his family.  Luckily Guy Gardner shows up and knocks Despero far enough that Manhunter can come to his senses. After learning the Despero killed Gypsy's family Guy flies after him. The battle goes from the ocean to downtown Manhattan. There the rest of the League gets involved. Just when the League seems to have Despero on the ropes he turns his third eye on Mr. Miracle's ship seemingly killing the hero.  Back with Gypsy, Manhunter reveals the only was to stop Despero is to give him what he wants.
