Synopsis

THE COMMAND IS "CHAOS"! Superman, Flash, Green Arrow, and Red Tornado fail to stop a political fanatic called the Anarchist, whose super-powered followers attempt to kidnap United Nations delegates. Meanwhile, Green Lantern finds himself forced against his will to recharge his power ring constantly. . . even in his sleep. When Superman attends a religious revival meeting as Clark Kent, and encounters the bizarre powers of faith-healer Simon Elis, he reasons that Elis may secretly be the Anarchist, and summons Batman, Green Lantern, Black Canary, and Elongated Man to help him investigate. Elis does prove to be their foe, and is on the verge of defeating them when Green Lantern realizes that the Anarchist must be drawing his power from GL's own ring. Superman knocks the Lantern out to prevent him from being commanded to recharge the power ring, and so, when the enemy's powers ebb, the JLA is able to subdue him and his followers.
