Synopsis

I'LL KILL YOU IN YOUR DREAMS! Six Justice League members are on hand in their civilian identities for the opening of the ultra-modern Gotham Starscraper Hotel, unaware that Dr. Destiny has turned it into a trap for them.  As they sleep, he inflicts Flash, Atom, Superman, Batman, Green Arrow, and Black Canary with dreams in which the use of their powers brings disastrous consequences: Superman's battle with Luthor results in Jimmy Olsen's death; Batman finds himself becoming a winged freak -- a true bat-man; Flash's fight with the Trickster ends with his exile in space; Atom's uniform begins to shrink uncontrollably and strangle him; Black Canary's sonic cry causes a building to collapse on her; and Green Arrow is blinded by his own flare-arrow.  The next day, the heroes find their dreams being duplicated in real life, but they escape their various perils, and corner Destiny in his hotel hideaway.  Dr. Destiny, once a normal-appearing human, now resembles a living skeleton, a result of his having lost the ability to dream, after a psychiatrist caused him to lose his previous power to warp reality through dreams.  He now tries to use his new ruby materioptikon device to destroy the League members with illusions, but the miniaturized Atom takes over control of the invention, and turns it against the villain.
