Synopsis

ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WILD WILD WEST... It is the year 1878. Bounty Hunter Jonah Hex is riding along an Arizona trail when he comes upon a glowing, green flash of light. Inspecting the phenomenon, he discovers Green Lantern. Hal is suffering from amnesia, and has no idea where he is, or even what year it is. Jonah calms him down and tries to get Hal to remember who he is. Meanwhile, a shadowy figure watches from a distance.   In the town of Desecration, a rowdy group of saloon patrons discover a similarly time-lost Zatanna. Like Hal, Zatanna has no idea who she is, but she can still instinctively use her powers. As the rabble rousers attempt to antagonize her, the woman known as Cinnamon enters the saloon and drives them off. Cinnamon decides to look after Zatanna.   Farther North, the man known as Scalphunter discovers the Elongated Man. Ralph does not know who he is, but appears to hold a better grip on his surroundings than his fellow League members. He helps Scalphunter fend off a hungry cougar.   In Tucson, the Flash enters a gambling den where he witnesses an altercation between some cheating poker players and the flamboyant Bat Lash. Bat Lash fires off a few shots to distract his opponents, and runs from the hall. The Flash uses his super-speed to dispel the angry gamblers, allowing Bat Lash time to escape.   In the year 1981, Superman races about the Justice League Satellite attempting to find out why four League members have suddenly disappeared. He traces their last known signal lock from their JLA communicators and flies off to Arizona. While inspecting the region surrounding the Grand Canyon, a giant robot bursts from under the ground and begins pummeling the man of steel. Superman breaks the robot apart, only to discover that his innards are composed of Kryptonite.   The true villain behind all of this seeming madness makes his presence known – the Lord of Time. The Lord of Time explains that he is responsible for sending the League members back into the past. He knows that a cluster of antimatter energy is fated to fall upon the Arizona deserts in 1878, and he plans to use the League to collect the powerful energy for him.
