"Split Hit" The Justice League Task Force is briefed by Hannibal Martin to intervene on Sanobel Island: they will have to defend the dictator Enrique Ramos against some freedom fighting guerrillas who have acquired vastly superior weaponry from an arms trader. The heroes use stealth to invade the island and try to locate the mammoth death ray. They discover it moments before the fighters become desperate and hit the switch to vaporize any living thing in it cannon's line of sight.
