Knuckles the Echidna #24

Spectre confronts Locke and Archimedes in the Chaos Chamber, informing them that Haven has been captured by the Dark Legion. Locke refuses to help him recapture their base of operations, having just learned that Knuckles is being held captive by Dimitri. Spectre warns that if the Legion discovers their secrets, many more lives will be at risk. Meanwhile, Benedict offers Remington a deal while Pravda stands mindlessly nearby. Benedict explains that Remington could easily be replaced once he comes becomes High Councilor, but he could expect a lifetime position as Constable if he pledges his loyalty. Remington thinks Benedict is being presumptuous, but he explains that the election can easily be rigged. Remington asks what would happen if he decides not to play along; Benedict explains that Remington has secrets that he'd rather not have others find out.
