Lark has a new friend by the name of Henry Hotspur, who's handsome, brave, dashing, and already proved himself to be a man she can rely upon when the chips are down - which they almost always are for our young heroine. And the best new is, he's much more age-appropriate, just in case nature takes its course. At the same time poor Brenar is still dying, but not yet dead.
