Wildfire's anti-energy form was displaced in the battle against Kharlak the Khund. Invisible Kid is able to track him down when he turns invisible, somehow transporting himself into a dream world, where he finds Wildfire with one difference: He's been made flesh again. While Jacques Foccart makes Wildfire realize that he can't live in that wasteland of a world, they run into Lyle Norg, the original Invisible Kid. Believing Lyle a ghost, Jacques and Wildfire leave and find themselves on Orando, summoned in a seance performed by Queen Projectra's magical seers.
