Recovering from injuries battling Bion, Brin Londo is cared for by his ex-girlfriend Ayla Ranzz and the two recount Brin's origin and time with the Legion. The incident known as Black Dawn is depicted for the first time. Mysa Nal warns that without Mordru, Glorith has a shot at controlling the universe. The Legion sets out for Balduur.
