Synopsis
A new era dawns for the 31st Century's greatest heroes! The once-lost members of the Legion of Super-Heroes have returned! But the world has changed in their absence into something that they no longer recognize. As the Legion rebuilds from the ground up, with a new structure, new members and a new purpose, will they survive the evil that awaits them?The Legionnaires that were considered lost more than a year ago return back to a very different planet Earth. The Legion of Super-Heroes have seemingly disbanded. A team called the Oversight Watch handle some of the duties that Legion had and Mon-El is a member. Leland McCauley is president of Earth. McCauley gets attacked by some alien when the returning Legionnaires are able to save him from the assault. After the save, the Oversight Watch and the Legion express some tension, with the Oversight Watch believing the Legion jeopardize their lifestyle and career. The Legion soon leaves on a flying shuttle towards a government facility but Saturn Girl senses that there's a bomb on board right before it explodes.
