Xotar the Conquerer materializes in the robotics section of the Time Institute of the 30th century, quickly dispatching the antique machines to do his bidding. Cosmic Boy intercepts them and calls in for back-up. Meanwhile, Monstress and Kid Quantum II are trying to enjoy a nice day of shopping when Monstress' skin color begins to rapidly change without warning. A colorful Monstress joins her fellow Legionnaires in taking down Xotar's forces.
