Part 2 of the 3-part "Purgatorio," featuring Death of the Endless. Death has come to Lucifer's cosmos, to confront not one, but two supposedly immortal beings. Her intentions are far from clear, but her actions will prove both terrible and irrevocable, and change forever the destiny of both the Morningstar and the world he's worked so hard to create.Susano comes to Lucifer's cosmos, to meet with The Basanos, and speak with Innocence of important matters. When he brings up Jill, Innocence becomes angered, but he calms her down by revealing his true purpose for coming. The fact is, his mother believes Lucifer is still alive, and should that be true than all of them are in great danger. So he has brought his deceased brother's hunting animals as a gift, to take out Lucifer.Lucifer on the other hand is in limbo, talking with Death about things he does not wish to, but that she's been wanting to ask him about for a while. Meanwhile Meleos uses Elaine to resurrect Lucifer, who awakes just in time to know the Basanos are coming down upon he and Meleos. As for Elaine, she realizes she gave up her life for Lucifer's and is left to mourn with Death of the Endless who takes her to be with Mona.
