"The World We Live In" Majestic is briefly taken captive by a group of strange and powerful aliens. He easily escapes after waking up, but must rescue one of them when he is attacked by the Vendettes. After making peace with each other, the aliens show Majestic what they call 'The Plenary', a vast and lifelike section of the alien Ark that multiple lifeforms inhabit. It turns out that the Alien Ark has been malfunctioning, possibly for thousands of years, and numerous aliens had been escaping into a cultivation zone. Majestic learns a little about the massive culture and the 'deity' called the Godhead, which is most likely the Ark's artificial intelligence. After getting little help from the natives, Majestic decides to go off to find out more about the ship, but is attacked by the 'Elders', the founders of the Plenary that keep the ship's true origins secret from the rest of the population by killing those that go into the forbidden zone. The inevitable fight pushes Majestic before he is at the mercy of the Head Elder Phoment.
