Synopsis

"Dark Days and Daemon Nights" Surrounded by Daemonite-infested humans, Majestic fights several off before escaping to a sparsely populated section of New York City. Once safe, he access a special emergency equipment cache stored within his armor and prepares to infiltrate the Halo Building. Wearing a stealth suit and taking a special pill that will temporarily hide his Kheran 'aura' from the Daemonites at the expense of his powers, he makes it into the building where he's forced to fight off the few guards protecting Halo's Information Hub. Despite his best efforts, he's unable to get in touch with any of the Wildcats, The Authority, or ex-Stormwatch personnel, including his cyborg friend Desmond. The only signal he can find is coming from the small isolated farm in the Arctic he once called home (from WildC.A.T.s #11). Escaping the Halo Building, he makes his way there hoping to find the answers he seeks. Beneath the farm where various Kherubim technology is kept, Majestic finds the remains of Ladytron, who explains to him that he's actually been gone several years and that most of the planet has been taken over by the Daemonites, killing all of the superhumans (save Majestic) in the process. She also reveals that she was left alive to continue trying to get in touch with Majestic, since the Daemonites knew he would one day return. One blown up farm later, Majestic goes outside and is confronted by a group of Spartan Series Prototypes working for the Daemonites. He fights them off easily before being attacked by their leader, Hadrian a.k.a. Spartan of the Wildcats.
