Synopsis

Continued from the previous issue, Loki uses another goat to trick another member of the Warriors Three onto a fool's errand. Hogun is charged with feeding the goat believed to be Mord fruit from the top of the tree in the Elf Wood. Accompanied by Mord's squire, Vilar, Hogun's distrust of the sprites that live there and his own stubborn pride make the journey more difficult than it could have been. He's almost overwhelmed by a serpent that lives in the branches of the tree until he relents and asks the sprites and Vilar for help. The sprites fly Vilar up to the serpent to tickle its chin with a feather, putting it to sleep. When all is said and done and the fruit fails to turn the goat into Mord, Hogun gives up and allows himself to share a rare laugh along with his companions.
