While nursing Elena back to health, Maverick tells Chris some disturbing news about the Legacy Virus. Maverick kept vigil at Elena's bedside, who's encounter with Sabretooth had left her in a coma, severing their psychic bond. With the Legacy Virus he carries no longer in remission, his powers have gone out of control, burning his hands when he blasts his kinetic energy. Meanwhile, the Confessor, after breaking Sickle out of prion, met with Ivan Pushki and was given a new assignment, to kill Maverick!
