Sephie is Visited by the Muse of Giatan, who tells her about the Sigil she bears and the role that she foresees Sephie playing.The Muse also visits Ilahn. Ilahn has recently discovered how to "will" himself to another place with the use of a viewing device. The Muse challenges him, that he shouldn't need the device.Sephie visits where Jad fell from and heals the cave bear that had attacked him.Jad begins his journey home.
