Synopsis

Platinum clambers up out of a volcano, only to feel her leg grabbed in a vice-like grip. Her nightmarish pursuer has undergone a horrific transformation, becoming a monstrous volcano-like creature. It's temperature seems to rise with every passing second. Platinum fears it will soon reach her melting point. Platinum manages to get the creature to loosen it's grip enough for her to flee. Meanwhile, the Metal Men are fighting a losing battle against a horde of mannequins, rampaging through the city. With their flame throwers spent, the robot band throw themselves against the horde, in a fierce confrontation. Unable to hold them, the Metal Men are forced backwards, and opt to make their last stand in a wax museum. To the Metal Men's dismay, though, the wax figures come to life, and join the mannequin horde. Caught between the two forces, the Metal Men suffersa terrible beating.Their responsometers begin to malfunction, causing the Metal Men to run amok. Iron is close to destroying Lead, Mercury, and Tin, when their responsometers finally self-repair. Though currently hated and feared by the human populace, the Metal Men, nonetheless, regroup behind the police barricades. Gold offers the police the Metal Men's aid, in presenting a united front against their mutual enemy. Warily, the police agree. The horde of mannequins and wax figures sweep over their position. Despite their valiant fight, neither the police nor the Metal Men can hold the horde back. Lead molds himself into a barrier, to allow the police to retreat to safety. Then the Metal Men heroically throw themselves against the horde. Platinum arrives with the volcanic monster in hot pursuit. Playing on the creature's strange love for her Platinum desperately cries out to it for aid.Believing the horde is jeopardizing it's one true love, the volcanic creature incinerates the horde. Having ended the crisis, the living furnace demands it's prize... Platinum. As it's temperature continues to rise, the very stones upon...
