This issue starts out with Commander Rann and Marionette stuck in a garbage truck and trying to find their way out. They end up flower shop owned by a nice but naive woman. She has a boyfriend (or so she thinks) that is using her because her flower shop buts up against the bank. While she's gone, he changes into the Plant-Man. Commander Rann and Marionette help the woman by trying to stop the Plant-Man. In Tales of the Mircroverse, we find out that there are dark forces at work on Spartak. What are these incantations meant for? What being could they be trying to bring forth?
