This 1942 title was the first issue devoted exclusively to the Amazon Princess and features a detailed retelling of her origin as well as that of her entire Amazon race. Retailer Joe Field of Flying Colors Comics in Concord, CA notes that "This was the first comic title named for a female hero and thus a milestone in the progressive march for all women in the U.S."
