After an all-out war with Norman Osborn and his Dark Avengers, the X-Men left their home in San Francisco. Raising Magneto's abandoned asteroid base from the depths of the Pacific Ocean, the X-Men have declared it a sovereign nation for mutantkind, an island sanctuary free of anti-mutant prejudice. They call their new home "Utopia."
