Synopsis

Following her apparent stroke, Talia is recovering in the hospital. She cannot speak and is having difficulty understanding everything her teammates are trying to say to her. She soon becomes frustrated at not being able to move her right arm and leg. Sage remains in her room and watches.Soon Talia is visited by an astral form of herself. "Nocturne" moves about and taunts Talia to get up and walk. As days go by, Talia improves a little. She still cannot fully move or remember everything. Finally one night comes and Talia tells Sage to stop staring at her. Sage replies, "Make me." Sage taunts Talia to use her powers and possess her body. Talia is afraid. The next night comes and Sage, once again, tries to get Talia to use her powers. She says there is a narrow window. If Talia doesn't do something, she could be crippled for the rest of her life. Talia finally decides to do it. She goes out on the town in Sage's body and cuts loose. She is having a blast until she begins to lose control of Sage's body. Falling off a building, she is saved at the last minute by Captain Britain carrying Talia's body. Talia returns to her own body. She doesn't understand why they would take the risk with Sage that they did. Brian tells them because they are all part of Excalibur and they were prepared to take the risk. They are a family, a band of brothers, and they will take care of each other and be there for her during her struggle.
