Synopsis

Cannonball through the streets with Rusty in his arms and Skids on his back. A possessed trash can attacked them, but it reverted to normal the instant Rusty set it alight. Back at the church Wolfsbane struggled to care for the toddling mutant babies they'd rescued while Illyana tightly held her around the neck. Boom-Boom was complaining about baby-sitting duties when she found a demonic boom-box chasing one of the babies. Rictor deflected her time-bombs and used his vibratory powers to shake the possession out of it. Wolfsbane tried to re-assure Cannonball that Lila was most likely alive in space, but he continued to despair from not knowing. Rusty & Rictor continued to act smitten over Gosamyr, and Sunspot stepped in between them. Gosamyr was wracked with guilt, since it was her family who had caused Lila's apparent death. She believed was a potential monster, just as Magik had been.Across town at the Hellfire Club Sebastian Shaw blamed the whole of the Inferno on Magneto, since Magik had been his responsibility. Magneto was angry that Shaw wasn't bothered about mutantkind and they began to fight. Before any serious damage could be inflicted, Selene and the White Queen entered demanding to know what all the ruckus was. Shaw stormed out of the room claiming that it had been over philosophy.Meanwhile, Rusty made a telephone...
