Synopsis

Hela was astounded & frustrated to find a huge Asgardian army challening her, while Cannonball's team of New Mutants battled in the air.  Seeing Warlock, they landed and were reunited with Boom-Boom & Hrimhari.  Warlock immediately led his small team against Moonstar, but she blasted them out of the air.  Cannonball's tea of New Mutants then pursued Moonstar on Hela's winged-steeds. Meanwhile, Eitri had filed an old rusty key to fit the lock.  He freed the Einherjar and himself.  The Einherjar ran to join the fight while blaming Eitri for forging the Uru sword.  Eitri told Kindra that he had a plan, but he made her promise to stay safely hidden while he corrected his mistake.  On the battlefield, Karnilla healed Balder's wounds and even the children of Volstagg clubbed the ankles of their enemies.  The Einherjar joined the battle with their automatic weapons.  Eitri and Kindra slipped through the warp onto the battlefield.  He forced Kindra to hide into a small cave.  Eitri then mastered his hatred of horses and mounted one to ride to Odin's palace. Moonstar arrived at Odin's palace.  Cannonball flew between her and Odin, using his blast field to protect the all-father.  Moonstar raised the Uru sword, but Rictor's vibrations broke Brightwind's wing.  She blasted Rictor in retalliation, burning his hands.  Wolfsbane stood in front of Rictor and begged Moonstar to stop fighting them.  However, Moonstar aimed the sword at the New Mutants and blasted them with fire.  Cannonball's blastfield protected them, but began to fill with toxic gases and casued him to collapse.  Sunspot knocked Moonstar off her feet by smashing the floorboards, but she then hit him with enchanted fire at point blank range.  Wolfsbane tore down the curtains and used them to smother out the fire on Sunspot's body.  Amid the distraction of the fight, no-one noticed Eitri smash his way into the chamber.  He leapt as Moonstar went to strike, and managed to damage the Uru blade...
