Synopsis

MUTT Nightwing prevents a carjacking, but the frightened driver loses his head and shoots at everybody which leads to the escape of the criminals.   Meanwhile, the doctors of Rabe Memorial Hospital have a weird case in front of them. Dudley Soames got his head turned 180 degrees by Blockbuster, but somehow survived this incident. He is totally paralyzed and the doctors think he might need another miracle to get him off life support.   As Nightwing returns home, he catches a teenager who is breaking into his apartment. The boy's name is Mutt and like Dick grew up in an orphanage. Therefore, Dick feels a little sympathy for Mutt and tells him him he will not call the cops unless the boy pulls another stunt like this. But after Mutt left the apartment, Dick immediately puts his costume back on and follows the boy to a scrap yard where other teenagers give Mutt a hard time. They burn his makeshift shelter and in the end its up to Nightwing to drag Mutt's unconscious body out of the fire. He hands the boy over to some officers which are able to bring him to a hospital.  Next day Dick visits Mutt in that hospital and has a proposition for him. Dick's boss Hank Hogan agreed to take Mutt in if he goes back to school and stays away from crime. Happy about Mutt's positive answer Dick returns to his apartment and is surprised to meet non other than Batman ...
