Synopsis

THE QUARRY Nightwing confronts two bribed cops to find out where Chief Redhorn is. They don't have an answer for him, but at least Nightwing can guess that they now get their orders from Inspector Mac Arnot.   Next day, Dick attends the funeral of Agent Ronald Houston who was killed by Nite-Wing. Mac Arnot is there as well. He likes the dedication of Dick and suggests to do something for him although Dick has no clue what the Inspector is talking about.  Meanwhile at the Bludhaven Police Department, Wallace Ebersol is entering his office room as the newly appointed Chief of Police. Mac Arnot already awaits him and makes it clear, that he runs the part of the police force which the people do not see.   With the help of Oracle, Nightwing is able to locate the hideout of Tad Ryerstad. Nightwing finds him and takes no prisoners this time. He beats up Ryerstad badly and then calls the police confessing the murder of Agent Houston in Tad's name. Ryerstad swears that he will kill Nightwing the next time they meet ...
