Synopsis

LETHAL FORCE Nightwing busts into a hold-up in a 24h check cashing place. He is able to overwhelm the bad guys, but a female hostage faints during the fight and next morning Dick discovers that the woman actually died of a heart attack. When he and Amy Rohrbach hear that a suspect in the robbery has been sighted, they pursue, as do two cops Rohrbach knows to be corrupt - Richter and Hicks.   As soon as Dick and his partner arrive at an abandoned building where the suspect is supposed to hide, Dick enters the building on his own - much to the anger of his partner. Amy also gets into a heated discussion with Richter and Hicks who want to get their hands on the suspect. Amy cannot hold them back and Dick tries his best to save the suspect before his corrupt colleagues just shoot him because he probably has dirt on Richter. Dick tries to get him to surrender, but fails, and the guy is shot in cold blood with no warning by Richter.  With the sad feeling that Richter will never officially answer for this execution, Dick spends the evening at Hogan's Alley. Hogan heard about what happened and tries to explain to Dick that he just should be happy that he was not killed today ...
