Renegade Press (an offshoot of Dave Sim's Aardvark-Vanaheim publishing empire) presents the finale of the Aardvark-Vanaheim series Normalman. A spoof of then-current superhero comics, Normalman is the only being on the planet Levram (spell it backwards) who does NOT have superpowers. In this special, the Countess of Monte Crisco returns, ready to conquer the planet with the Ruby Slippers. The efforts to stop her may doom Levram once and for all. Creator Jim Valentino went on to become one of the founders of Image Comics. Cover features nearly every character who ever appeared in Normalman. Also featuring cameos by fellow Aardvark-Vanaheim characters Wolverine MacAllister (from Journey) and Cerebus. 32 pages, B&W with 3-D effects.
