Synopsis
It's after dark at the salvage yard, and two boys are about to discover that the nightmare gripping Conover County can come clad in steel and fire. Meanwhile, a gathering at the high school goes on as planned, though this dance wasn't originally going to be overseen by teenagers who could set fires with their minds or consume souls with new "parts" they'd grown. But even they may not be prepared for the guests coming from Lufton's graveyards. And what does Dyan, one of the architects of Conover's fate, have in mind for a frumpy classmate whom she's luring through the nightmarish streets?
