Synopsis
Its the Second World War and Captain Hunter's father Ben Hunter has been made a Lieutenant. The battle hardened soldier finds himself captured by the enemy and among friends who fight like foes in this issues debut of the team known as the Hellcats. Promising to get his fellow prisoners out of the jail that houses them, Hunter sees the potential in them to make a real fighting force to battle the axis powers. Hunter made good on his promise as the Hellcats would make life hell for the Nazis in the subsequent 16 issues of this title.
