Synopsis
CIRCLE OF EVIL When Cassandra Craft is kidnapped by Morgg and Dorian, agents of the Dark Circle organization. When the Phantom Stranger tries to save her, they have him struck down with mystic bolts and shackled in preparation of the Ritual of Passage. Phantom Stranger breaks free and uses his magic powers to free Cassandra from their control. Then in a hand to hand battle with Morgg, Phantom Stranger is forced to kill the strong man. The battle ends there when Morgg falls into the pit and causes an explosion that also destroys Dorian and his fortress. After the battle, the Phantom Stranger agrees to let Cassandra to travel with him. CREATURE OF THE NIGHT While passing through a town, Dr. Thirteen notices a man who is shunned by all. He realizes that the people literally believe this man to be a vampire, however he fails in convincing them that their notions are ridiculous and watches in horror as they stake the man through the heart. However, he does have the man responsible handed over to the police, but it is a hollow victory.
