Synopsis
“Phaze” is a futuristic science-fiction tale about time travel. The current president of the United States has created the black budget project “Chariness” to conduct time travel research. The ultimate goal of this project is to send an agent back in time with orders to assassinate President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The goal of this assassination is to stop the “welfare state” from ever happening and, in theory, to erase the huge national debt. The current president’s son and his best friend accidentally discover the plot and vow to stop the evil act. This 1988 mini-series chronicled the adventures of the two boys as they fight to preserve history.
