William "Bill" Barrett Foster isn't the first apparition, he had already been with Hank Pym (Goliath I) in the base of the Avengers because Hank was jammed to the dimension. Tim helped him, also he was bio-chemical as Hank. So many years later he has become Black Goliath, Luke was dejected against him for the ex-girlfriend but Claire was already gotten married.
