For research, writers sometimes go on ride alongs with the police. And in this self-contained issue of Powers, Warren Ellis guest-stars as himself, a famous British comic writer who goes on one of these ride alongs with a reluctant Detective Christian Walker. But it's a trip into hell, as the ride a long takes these two characters into very dangerous territory. And trust us, this issue has a shocking ending.
