While staking out a cocaine warehouse, Punisher discovers the operation is being run by none other than his long-time nemesis Jigsaw. Punisher destroys the warehouse, but jigsaw survives the blast and manages to escape. Upon returning to his own safehouse, Punisher and Micro have a falling out over Micro's lack of involvement and interest in Punisher's war on crime. Jigsaw turns to the Rev for assistance, who has now become a Satan worshiper due to his disillusionment caused by his encounters with Punisher. Upon further analysis, the drug found in the warehouse was not cocaine, but rather it was a highly concentrated poison. The Punisher decides to investigate further.
