- Controversial variant with Stan Lee's signature stamped on the cover using ink pads containing his blood (referred to as Stan Lee's Solvent DNA Ink)
- Includes a numbered hologram sticker printed with the words "Hands of Respect" and a Certificate of Authenticity
- In April 2018, news broke that a former business associate of Stan's allegedly presented forged documents to Mr. Lee's personal nurse that gave permission to his draw blood
