Synopsis

THE ODDS AGAINST Robin and Batman quickly deal with Condiment King, whom Tim privately thinks only gets out because no one takes him seriously, and return to the cave while discussing the new vigilante thief Violet. The next day Tim and Zoanne go on a double date with Randi and her boyfriend where Tim manages to infuriate Zo by falling asleep on a roller coaster.   When following up on leads he found after asking Alfred's advice Tim notices someone in a purple cape and hood on the rooftops, making him think he's either loosing it or someone is intentionally messing with him by dressing as his deceased girlfriend. He tries to chase them down but finds purple sheets hanging to dry instead and notices workers doing extensive work on St. Camillus Cathedral's facade, one of his possible leads due to the unexpected influx of money at the church which allowed them to hire the contractors. He enters as Alvin Draper and tells a nun he's there for the gambling support group. Upon rounding the corner in the direction the nun gave him he runs into Ives who is wearing a hat and hoodie and suspiciously replies to Tim's question as to his reason for being there with something about liking to help out with church. Ives manages to flee after Tim points out that Ives is Jewish when the nun from earlier helpfully shouts to "Alvin" that the room he's looking for is the next one over. After listening to the others in the group and noting the repeated occurrences of Maxie's in their tales he checks the board and is horrified to see what support group Ives was attending.  Elsewhere Violet beats information about the Maxie's counting room out of someone who works there and Officer Harper calls Robin to meet at the impound yards where her sleazy superiors are waiting to meet him, saying he's been moved up the chain and no longer deals with Officer Harper.
