The Shi'ar Empire have been long allies of the Earth super-heroes known as the X-Men, but now they find themselves at odds with the Spaceknights of Galador. Seeking his hidden homeworld, Rom and his allies, the surviving members of the Spaceknight Squadron, are accused of invading Shi'ar space.
