Synopsis

Marla Latham continues to research the past of every member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, and even the Legion of Substitute Heroes, in the hopes that he can find the child of R.J. Brande, who is in desperate need of a blood transfusion that could save his life. When Marla's search proves fruitless, Saturn Girl decides to probe the mind of R.J. Brande directly to uncover the truth, and she does: his child is none other than Chameleon Boy! Chameleon Boy arrives to give his father the blood transfusion and it is a success, reviving R.J. Brande in time for him to share information about saving an artificial star in jeopardy.
