Synopsis

January 1894. A year and a half have passed since the victory of Sherlock Holmes over James Moriarty. Sorely tired by the fight and its consequences, Holmes stays discrete and runs a modest bookshop in the centre of London. This new life suits him perfectly, but Queen Victoria comes to trouble it by asking him to work for her. Aaron McBride, a scientist with a deranged mind whom no-one had heard about for more than twenty years, has returned. And everything leads to believe that he is preparing an attack on the capital.
