Synopsis

The Surfer is confronted by the tragedies of the past! Millions of lives hang in the balance! Glenn Greenberg and Tom Morgan tell the tale and set the stage!SummaryThe sun is going to explode around the planet Karidian and the Silver Surfer plans to stop it from happening. It will be no easy task since the sun is already collapsing. But he is stopped from doing this by the Intergalactic Coalition, an armada of various survivors from planets that the Surfer led Galactus to. He tries to tell them that he was not the same person then but they will not listen. The coalition is able to put him in a stasis beam and they use all the power that every ship has in an attempt to destroy him, despite the threat of the exploding star. But the Surfer simply absorbs this energy and uses it to stabilize the star. The armada now powerless and in need of repairs, the Surfer suggests they help the planets population escape, for his fix is only temporary.
