Synopsis

"Compassion" The Surfer has landed! But he's on Paradise Omega, the Goddess's planet, and he's barely alive. And then there's the welcoming committee - Wonder Man and Storm - who wants to make sure that the Surfer never recovers. The Silver Surfer has been found on Paradise Omega by two members of the Holy Guard, Storm and Wonder Man. Wonder Man sees the Surfer as a heretic while Storm tries to tell him the Goddess is the way of compassion. Wonder Man beats on the defenseless Silver Surfer until he is satisfied he is finished. The Surfer's powers return to him and he still continues to plead with them that the Goddess is controlling them. They will not listen and the Surfer attacks. He defeats Wonder Man which angers Storm and makes her change her mind about the Surfer. The Surfer stops her and shows that he is compassionate as well by healing Wonder Man. He tells them that they must remain enemies and both of them must do as they feel is right. They remain faithful to the Goddess, but choose not to attack the Surfer again.
