Synopsis
"With Friends Like These..." Dusk rescues Hornet, but departs while he's too disorientated to identify her. Ricochet and Hornet try to make sense of recent events, but are interrupted by Spider-Man's arrival. As the Slingers attempt to flee and Spider-Man gives chase, they accidentally trigger a traffic accident. Banding together the three prevent anyone from being hurt and Spider-man warns his younger cohorts that being a superhero can't be taken lightly. However, they depart before he can ask them any questions.Once home, Hornet decides to investigate the hotel that the Maggia is renovating, and its connection to the Black Marvel. He is greatly disturbed by a visit from Dusk, their first genuine contact since her death.Back at the Black Marvel's quarters, he reassures Prodigy that abandoning his teammates was the right choice, as their inadequacy would only hold him back.
