It starts off with Spider-man facing off against Rhino. A man is watching on the sidelines. He knows Peter Parker is Spider-man and he is jealous of Parker's life. It is also revealed this man used to bully Peter during school.Peter's photos of Spider-man are rejected Jameson and Jess Patton offers Peter she will try and persuade him to use the photos.That night the man that is shown earlier comes to Jess and attacks her. His body starts melting and may little red eyes are seen in his mouth. He claims he is The Thousand.
