Star Wars Weekly 1 is the first issue in the Marvel Star Wars UK series of comics. Like the American Marvel Star Wars series, it started with a multi-part adaptation of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, but split into twelve parts instead of six. This includes the first half of the story printed in the US as Star Wars 1. The first issue included a free gift, a cut-out cardboard "X-Fighter" (sic).
